Slough Safeguarding Children

It is a statutory requirement for individual organisations to have in place arrangements, including undertaking safeguarding training, to ensure their staff are competent and confident to carry out their responsibilities for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The Local Safeguarding Children's Board (LSCB) has a statutory function to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training, including multi-agency training, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
