Slough Safeguarding Children

It is a statutory requirement for individual organisations to have in place arrangements, including undertaking safeguarding training, to ensure their staff are competent and confident to carry out their responsibilities for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

The Local Safeguarding Children's Board (LSCB) has a statutory function to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training, including multi-agency training, to safeguard and promote the welfare of children

Training: April 2018

The LSCB training sub-group is carrying out a review of training to ensure professionals in all agencies have a sound, evidence informed safeguarding training curriculum. A survey has been posted on this site for you to complete asap. Betty Lynch, the new safeguarding partnerships manager is co-ordinating this work and will be in touch. Contact her on if you want to get involved.

We will post new courses soon.
