Priorities, plans and reports

The  Board has a duty to publish a Strategic Plan which outlines what it aims to achieve in the next three years. The Board's objectives for 2017-18 are:

  1.  Improve identification of risk to the individual and management of that risk.

  2. Ensure effective safeguarding practice when working with people who self neglect/hoard.

  3. Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

  4. Making safeguarding personal and outcome focused.

  5. Board effectiveness.

The Business Plan 2017-18 shows how partner agencies will contribute to delivering the Board's priorities. Progress is reviewed at each Board meeting.

The Board also has a duty to publish an annual report detailing what the Board and its members have done during the year to implement its objectives.
