Herbert protocol for SAB meeting in 2nd March
A tool to help find missing people, including people with dementia, has been launched in partnership with search and rescue teams across the Thames Valley. The Herbert Protocol is a form to record key information about a person in case they go missing. Carers – whether family members, private carers, or care home staff – are strongly urged to complete a copy of the Herbert Protocol in advance. The form may include if the person is on medication, favourite places they like to visit or key people they know.
